Over the weekend of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June 2012, the UK  celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

On 2nd June 2013, it will be the 60th anniversary of the Coronation itself

Memories of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II

In 2012, it was HM the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Year (the Queen came to the throne on 6th February 1952 on the death of her father George VI).

I have set up a Blog to capture your memories of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on 2nd June 1953. 

Only people of a certain age will have these memories and they may not be very computer literate. So I am asking children and grand children to talk to your parents or grand parents about the Coronation and type in their memories. I will bet that they will remember what happened that day 60 years ago!
